TX Ren Fest! Only fest I've been to and may very well be the fest I die attending.
About Me
...two children, they keep me busy. Joined RenSpace because I saw Jessi's post. Currently working in the oilfield industry, buying this and that. It's okay. I spend pretty much all my time with the kids. I really don't have a social life, though I secretly long to; without the feeling of excluding my children and missing out on their lessons in life!
Music
When it comes to fest...I love all the music!!! Otherwise...Alternative, Rock, I'm quite eclectic. Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, Classical, yadda yadda yadda...(like I said, I'm eclectic)
Movies
Hackers, Empire of the Sun, Practical Magic, X Men (the 1st & 2nd one), The sappy romantic/super-hero kind.
TV
Charmed was my favorite show...now I just don't pay attention. Though CSI rocks too and Heroes IS absolutely awesome!
Books
Put Me In The Zoo by (I don't remember); Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

I am insane, and my son has always been "portable child." I went to TRF 40 weeks pregnant, had him three days after camping out for the weekend, and the next year, when he was just one year old, he was out there camping out with us. We only took him on warm weekends (not last weekend) until he was about four. For the last three years, I bring him and my nephews one weekend, and we camp two nights, go in for one day. Then, I go back without any kids for last weekend because it is my only grown-up excursion for the year. It's a tradition for me. Once they are teenagers (like 15) they can go with me on last weekend. Jessi |
